You’re quite right, Roger. The color you’re referring to is called Baker-Miller Pink, also known as Drunk Tank Pink. It got the latter nickname because it was tested in a Navy brig, where it was found to greatly reduce incidents of violent behavior among drunken sailors and other assorted miscreants. There’s a book by the same name, written by Adam Alter, which goes into it and other psychological effects tied to our environment.
